Located in NW Greece amidst the Pindos Mountains\, an important Mediterranean biodiversity hotspot\, PALASE has gone through a remarkable decade of growth in research\, education\, and outreach programs that have been documented in a recently released book entitled “PALASE: A field station in the heart of the Pindos mountains.”\n\n\nThis virtual cafe will not only introduce you to the unique circumstances of PALASE\, but will also share important lessons and insights learned in starting and developing new research\, education\, and outreach programs. This should be of value to any field station wanting new insights about how program activities emerge and prosper.
