About the Organization of Biological Field Stations
The Organization of Biological Field station is an all volunteer run U.S.-based 501 c3 non-profit composed of member field stations and marine labs from around the globe.
The mission of the Organization of Biological Field Stations (OBFS) is to help member stations increase their effectiveness in supporting critical research, education, and outreach programs. We pursue this goal in a manner that maximizes diversity, inclusiveness, sustainability, and transparency.
The Organization of Biological Field Stations is governed by its Members and a Board of Directors composed of Member-elected and Board-selected Officers, and Organizational Standing Committee Chairs.
