Virtual Café: Introducing the Climate Toolkit, an OBFS partner

The Climate Toolkit Initiative is a free collaborative network and resource hub for all types of cultural institutions committed to addressing climate change through operations and public engagement.
With over 225 museums, zoos, gardens, science centers, aquaria and field stations partnered in conversation around best climate practices, The Toolkit is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work and research, learn new strategies for climate solutions, and connect with others across the globe.
This virtual café will present an overview of the Climate Toolkit framework of nine focus areas and 34 climate commitments which institutions can implement on the journey towards climate alignment. The presentation will also explore the Toolkit’s programmatic offerings which include quarterly webinars, interactive workshops on regenerative thinking, and peer-to-peer working groups on Electrification, Interpretation, Youth Engagement, and Decarbonization.
Launched through leadership at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, the Climate Toolkit is thrilled to be partnering with OBFS to welcome field stations and nature centers into this network.

La Iniciativa Climate Toolkit es una red colaborativa gratuita y un centro de recursos para todo tipo de instituciones culturales comprometidas con la lucha contra el cambio climático a través de sus operaciones y la participación pública.
Con más de 225 museos, zoológicos, jardines, centros científicos, acuarios y estaciones de campo que colaboran en el diálogo sobre las mejores prácticas climáticas, el Climate Toolkit es una magnífica oportunidad para presentar su trabajo e investigación, aprender nuevas estrategias para soluciones climáticas y conectar con otras personas de todo el mundo.
